Big shoutout to community member lolPants who got WorldQL and Mammoth running in Docker before I did. 👏

WorldQL v0.02-alpha is now available as a Docker container for development purposes. This was one of the most requested features, apologies it took so long. The container initializes a Postgres database and starts the WorldQL server process.

This is not intended for production and runs in host networking mode for convenient access.

Here's how you get it:

# We'll be moving to a proper container registry soon.
git clone https://github.com/WorldQL/WorldQLDocker/
cd WorldQLDocker/
docker build -t worldql-0.02-alpha .
docker run -dt --network="host" worldql-0.02-alpha

To use with Mammoth (the WorldQL client for Minecraft servers), simply add the WorldQLClient jarfile to your plugins folder. Grab a copy at https://github.com/WorldQL/mammoth/releases
